THE BOO RADLEYS
Bank Holiday Sunday May 3rd
The Boo Radleys announce a May 2026 tour “IN SPITE OF EVERYTHING”, the name of their forthcoming ninth studio album, completing a remarkable 35-year evolution from shoegaze pioneers to fearless sonic explorers.
Iconic British alternative rock trio The Boo Radleys today confirm details of the “IN SPITE OF EVERYTHING” tour in May 2026. The tour is named after their ninth studio album, scheduled for release in May 2026 via BOOSTR Records. Fresh off the sold-out success of their first tour in France in 25 years, the announcement marks another triumphant chapter for the band who have spent three and a half decades refusing to be pigeonholed, evolving from noisy shoegaze pioneers through psychedelic experimentalists and Britpop chart-toppers to their current incarnation as mature, contemplative pop craftsmen.
Comprised of original members Dr Simon ‘Sice’ Rowbottom (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Tim Brown (vocals, bass, guitar, keyboards), and Rob Cieka (vocals, drums), The Boo Radleys remain one of British alternative rock's most important and influential acts. For this tour The Boo Radleys have chosen to play smaller, more intimate, venues to serve fans who don’t live near the major cities.
BAND BIOGRAPHY: Sonic adventurers who influenced the likes of Radiohead and Interpol, in the nineties The Boo Radleys released a succession of albums on Creation Records that encompassed Shoegaze (‘Everythings Alright Forever’), Britpop (the Number 1 album ‘Wake Up’), feverish experimentalism (‘C’mon Kids’) and absolutely everything in-between (‘Giant Steps’ – voted both Select Magazines & NME readers Album of the Year).
‘For 64 minutes in 1993 The Boo Radleys revolutionised The Beatles and out Smiled The Beach Boys. For 64 minutes they were the greatest band on the planet’ – Select
‘At the dawn of Britpop, the Boo Radleys chose expanding consciousness over provincial patriotism, and the results are still majestic’ – Pitchfork
‘One of those rare treasures you find yourself putting on to shake off a bad day when normally only Pet Sounds or Revolver or even Bandwagonesque will do’ – NME
Having split in 1999 following the release of ‘Kingsize’, Original members Sice (vocals / guitar), Tim (bass) and Rob (drums) got the band back together in 2021 to release new studio albums ‘Keep on Falling’ and ‘Eight’ and have subsequently sold out dates across the UK and Europe. Boo Forever!
